I am such an organization girl that I almost prefer to decorate small spaces! After all the most important factor to consider when taking on a small space is less is more aka NO EXTRA CLUTTER! This will shrink an already small space. My biggest tip would be to invest your time and money into finding excellent and stylish storage containers that can be incorporated into your design. IKEA is a great place to start, they even sell furniture with already built in storage compartments, that way you knock both problems out at once.
